Join the Club!

Thank you for your interest in joining the Hobart Walking Club Inc.

Before you leap into filling out and sending the application for prospective membership, please read our two information sheets Welcome to prospective members and Obligations of Participants on HWC Club Trips. These tell you a little about the Club, how to become a member, and some basic advice about going on Club trips.

Note that the Club is run by volunteers in their spare time. Please allow three to four weeks for your application to be processed.

Be sure to enclose your payment with your application, and do not send cash through the post.

If you are unsure about anything, contact the Membership Officer by a letter, or other means, and ask to discuss things.

Print and send the Application for Membership form, keeping for yourself a copy of the details.

You will receive more information, including a current schedule of walks, after you return your completed “Application for Membership” form to the Treasurer, along with the appropriate fee as specified in the application form.
